Hospitality has a new name

Buteo, or buzzard, stands for freedom. Buteo has a sharp eye and a calm appearance with focus on what is really important. The buzzard is a frequently seen guest in our Ardennes and is iconic for the region. The name connects us with the natural character of Wallonia.

In the meantime, you can already come and enjoy the wonderful place that we want to share with you from our chambres d'hôtes. We offer 6 rooms where we can receive a total of 20 guests. You will not lack comfort with lovely beds, a good breakfast and of course the best coffee in the region.

We want to raise the bar even higher and will work towards that in the coming years… and you can be part of that. By staying with us and being pampered, you also contribute to the renovation of this place in Lesterny!

The free bird as a natural inspiration and namesake

We, Anouska & Victor together with the children, moved to the Walloon Ardennes in 2023. We moved for the beautiful nature and the peace... away from the hustle and bustle and yet close to everything.

We have settled in a beautiful rural building in Lesterny from 1870. We have started renovating it and bringing it back to an authentic state, this is a development that we will certainly be busy with for the next two years.

We are building a place where connection, tranquility and quality are central.

At Buteo you can also drink coffee like they don't know it in Wallonia. With us you can enjoy the delicious coffee of MOTO inside or outside in the garden. Would you rather take a coffee with you for on the road? That's possible! Then bring your own cup, we will provide the coffee in it. How sustainable!
